Sick of everyone ignoring the old thread. Come on, I can't possibly be the only one who's looking forward to news from the Gundam vs Gundam franchise, can I? And so, a new thread with all the information and such I have on this new game.Gundam vs Gundam NEXT PLUSDecember 3rd, 2009PSP1-4 PlayersFor those of you who haven't been keeping up with the arcade version, Gundam vs Gundam NEXT, here is the mech list as far as we know it. Chances are this is the final list for NEXT PLUS, as we already knew about Destiny, Guntank and Kampher well ahead of time back when the first GvG game was ported. Don't hold your breath for anything beyond what's in this list.SPOILER. What a coincidence, I just played the arcade version earlier today ( and I haven't been to an arcade in a good couple months.
Of course, I'm looking forward on playing this in December. I can't wait! In fact, I've been following the news regarding GvGN+ since the past weeks. And good thing the earlier news regarding GvGN is heading to PS3 was just a rumor.whew!. Looking forward on using 00 Raiser and Unicorn.
XD And this is definitely a step ahead of the 1st GvG Portable, since based on the screenshots/magazine scans I saw, it looks like it has a Mission Mode similar to the PS2 Gundam Vs. Titles (and of course, OMNI vs ZAFT Portable), which is absent in the previous game.QUOTE (Nomake Wan)Akatsuki is more hax, and since it's in, you can have a four-way battle between Akatsuki, Turn X, Tallgeese and Epyon for lulzy 'ROFL SAME VOICE ACTOR' battles.
I honestly really hope it gets ported to a console. I wouldn't mind it being on PS3, honestly, because beautiful f.king 1080p Gundam fighting game with online play.
Who the hell doesn't want that!? I was crying tears of joy when they rumored it to have a PS3 version. That would be spectacular! But I'd even be happy with just a PS2 port.PSP is nice because it's portable, so I can play it at work (you know, 'cause I don't.
At work?) and go over to friends' places and fight them on the spot. But the graphics resolution is kinda bad (which is a mockery of the arcade's graphics), and I worry that with the NEXT Mode being in and having mobile armor battles and such, it'll succumb to the same problem that the original game had with too many things being on screen at once. I mean, even a normal 2-on-2 game over the AdHoc was laggy as hell. I worry greatly that the smoothness of the arcade game will be lost when it goes to PSP.So far, the videos make it look smooth as butter. But we'll see what happens when it actually comes out.Oh, another note!
Check the Mobile Suit section of the official site; they've updated twice! You can now see stats on the 00 Raiser, Wing Zero Custom and Nataku. They also show the Reborns Gundam, though like the original Famitsu article that announced it, it has no stats whatsoever.
Yeah, the removal of the G-Crossover attacks is a breath of fresh air, since it's responsible for all that lag in GvG, both in the arcade and in the PSP version. Besides, the G-Crossover attacks we're not that fascinating IMO. They made battles look somewhat more chaotic.@Skv012a: Nice, so the GvG edition of the PSP-3000 was basically the same as the Mystic Silver color, only it has the silhouettes of the Gundams printed in the back.
(I already saw the design of the unit in various pics in the Web, but I've never seen this close like in the pics you've provided). GvG PSP thread this way -Anyway, I was reading a thread on /m/ earlier that mentioned they thought they saw a few grunt units that weren't originally announced, such as a normal Zaku. They also said that there's an image floating around that shows some 'Locked' spots in the Gundam SEED and Gundam Unicorn rosters, suggesting mobile suits that we don't yet know about. The rumor mill is active as always, suggesting that perhaps Delta Plus will be the one in Unicorn (but why? Why not Sinanju?), and Justice will be the one in SEED. I highly doubt both, but we'll see soon enough, perhaps? In any case, here are the new videos. They've been posted elsewhere before, but this is the first time I've seen them posted in HD.
Yet again, Youtube manages to defeat NicoNico Douga!
I don't know which option you say. It's my ini file. Hmm, I see a couple options that might be worth changing.图像设置 - 停用较慢的渲染效果(提升速度) might make it faster. If it does, that will help us find the problem.图像设置 - 多级纹理映射(Mipmap) may improve speed and graphics.
I recommend it.系统设置 - 快速内存访问(不稳定) may improve speed. Sometimes there are bugs, but it gets better in each release.图像设置 - 减少缓存存取(提升速度) should likely be off for your CPU.
It may be faster.Does changing 图像设置 - 低品质样条函数/贝兹曲线(提升速度) to 低 change anything? If not, leave it at 高 or 中.Does the lag go away if you disable 图像设置 - 纹理缩放? Just wondering if it's related to that setting.-Unknown.
